What I’m currently up to!
I’ve been juggling various projects including writing a new Rom Com about a therapist that needs therapy (yes, I know the irony!) and editing the second book in The Perfect Series, Perfect Fool. I have also dipped my toe in the Tik Tok ocean for the first time, you can find me under TJGristwood if you fancy a giggle.
Perfect Fool is Ash’s story and continues the journey with Jax and Jade’s love story. Ash is a wild card and I have no doubt he will ruffle a few feathers when I launch his latest shenanigans later this summer. I knew this series would be like Marmite… you either love it or hate it. But as always, my goal is to entertain those that connect with the characters. It will hopefully open hearts, saturated the senses and bring awareness to topics that can be difficult to process as there are some addiction triggers in Ash’s story.
As always I am immensely grateful for all the book lovers that read and review my books. You make all the time and effort required to be an author worthwhile.
Food for Thought!
So far 2023 has been a year of changes and challenges. A lot of us are being slapped with some difficult scenarios. Personally, it has been a year of loss and acceptance for me. But the lesson within the layers of sadness is kindness. We must be kind to ourselves and to each other if we are to thrive.
It’s a kind of make or break scenario and I’ve been reminded to stay as playful as possible when it feels like I can’t keep my head above water. As a menopausal woman I’ve had my fair share of anxious moments and negative thought patterns that I’ve had to bat away time and time again. It can feel like a never ending process, but if we remember to keep checking in with what we need and ask for support, we can survive any storm that whips up unexpectedly.
Love. Love. Love. And keep loving beautiful people!
